We are delighted to announce the launch of the dHealth Network on March 29th, 2021. The first healthcare-dedicated public blockchain powered by high-performance Supernodes. It applies a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and is based on NEM technology with staking opportunities for holders of the network’s native currency Digital Health Points (DHP).

If you already own DHP (formerly HIT Tokens) you can opt-in from March 17th to secure your DHP on the new network and start staking from the launch date on. Anyone interested in running one of the maximum 100 Supernodes can access more information under Nodes. Pharma companies and academic partners already agreed to operate Supernodes and will be announced soon.

The benefits of a healthcare-ecosystem blockchain for its participants are manyfold. A Decentralized Identity can be used by all participants. Payment processes can be revolutionized by immediate asset-transfer not only between corporate partners but also in the interaction with and between individual users. Digital contracts offer streamlining of processes as well as trust and transparency.

The projects that we have started during the last year will be migrated to the dHealth Network right after the launch. We are also preparing an airdrop of DHP on the NEM community, an Automated Market Maker for trading DHP, and the DHP listing at centralized exchanges. The dHealth Network launch comes at a time when digital health applications receive a boost from the pandemic and blockchain adoption by healthcare stakeholders is growing. We appreciate your interest and are convinced that it was worth the wait.
